We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy GP clinic. We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, and able to lead from the front. Prior experience in general practice management is ESSENTIAL. As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, supporting doctors and staff while ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance, and financial performance. Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre is a well-established, patient-focused clinic committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our local community. As our Practice Manager, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the practice. · Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of the practice, including financial management, staff supervision, and resource planning
· Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
· Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and implement process improvements
· Manage patient relations, including handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback
· Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
· Lead and mentor the administrative team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
· Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the practice What we're looking for
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical practice management role, preferably in a similar healthcare setting
· Management experience must be specifically within GP clinics or family practice settings
· Demonstrated expertise in financial management, human resources, and operational efficiency in a medical practice
· Basic budgeting experience is required for effective financial management of the practice
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
· Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
· Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, industry standards, and best practices
· Experience with Best Practice management software is ideal
· Proficiency with Best Practice management software is mandatory for this role
· Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment
