Key Details Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time Hours: 60 hours per fortnight (0.79 EFT) Classification: YW11 or YW12 Location: Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg Upload with Application: Resume, cover letter, and all relevant qualifications Contact: Alanah Crowle ( ), Jemma Binney ( ) and Tara West ( ) About the Chance An opportunity to join the Nursing Leadership team at MHW Neonatal Services in the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). Working alongside a multi‑disciplinary team, the ANUM oversees the day‑to‑day management of Neonatal Services. Responsibilities
- Compliment and support the strategic direction and management within Neonatal Services
- Respond to and effectively manage the day‑to‑day operation of the Neonatal Nurseries
- Promote excellence in clinical practice and family‑centered care
- Provide leadership and clinical support to the nursing team
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager of NICU and SCN by acting up into the position to fill planned and unplanned leave What You Bring
- Excellent clinical, time‑management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem‑solve
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management
- Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment Requirements and Desirable Qualifications
- Required: Ability to work a rotating roster
- Required: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Required: Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
- Desirable: A postgraduate qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care (or equivalent)
