About the opportunity
- Provide a high level of clinical expertise in the provision of assessment, casework management, counselling and referral to pregnant women with complex substance use dependence
- Lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement in the delivery of clinical care for this cohort
- Support women referred to the SAGE (Substance Advice, Guidance and Education) Clinic, and other Mercy Hospital for Women patients presenting with complex AOD issues and experiences of trauma
- Provide high-level specialist advice to employees and staff within the Social Work Department What you'll bring
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualifying experience in Social Work
- A relevant post graduate qualification is highly desirable
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve
- An ability to champion multidisciplinary team work, providing highly responsive and flexible services to consumers and their carers You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
