We are seeking a Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our practice on a **full time** and/or **part-time** basis.

Convenient location 10 minutes by bus from Central Station and close to amenities

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- General chair
- side assistance including all aspects of dentistry.
- Reception duties such as taking phone calls, booking appointments, HICAPS and EFTPOS payments.
- Providing high quality patient care and management.
- Complying with sterilisation and infection control protocols.
- Must be available to work in a rotating shift including Saturdays.

**Skills and experience**

To be considered you will need to possess:

- NO experience necessary as long as you have an interest in patient care. But those with experience in dental assisting and / or in other fields of health care are highly regarded.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting is an advantage but not essential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, well-presented, punctual and reliable.
- Willingness to learn and great attitude towards team work.
- Basic computer literacy.

- $32.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate I
- IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
