With purpose led roles across residential care, retirement living, home and community care, health and wellness, social experiences and corporate teams, our workforce deliver impact for our residents and customers. **The role**: Reporting to the WHS Manager, as the WHS Business Partner, you will work closely with leaders across ACH Group to drive the implementation of Work Health and Safety programs. Your expertise will ensure that our people, processes, and workplace environment meet compliance requirements while fostering a proactive safety-first culture. Importantly, you will contribute to maintaining ACH Group’s self-insurance status, ensuring our ongoing licence to operate. **What you’ll do**:
- Provide expert WHS advice, coaching, and support to leaders to build capability and accountability for safety.
- Drive the execution and integration of WHS strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain ACH Group’s self-insurance status.
- Foster a positive safety culture by leading engagement initiatives and promoting best practices across all levels of the organisation.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to support decision-making and drive improvements in safety performance.
About you! **To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Experience in a similar WHS advisory or business partnering role, ideally within self-insured environments.
- Robust knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation, risk management frameworks and best practices.
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Formal qualifications in WHS or similar.
- Experience in assisting and facilitating investigations.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A Police Check for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old.
- A current driver’s licence.
