What you'll be doing: Join our IT Technical Solutions Team and play a key role in delivering innovative technology solutions that support 6,000 team members across a fast-growing business. You'll work across diverse projects and stakeholders to design and implement data integration solutions that address complex challenges and drive business success. - Perform data extracts and data mining to support business analysis
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Enhance data warehouse capabilities and performance
- Create and maintain data stores for analytical/reporting sources
- Implement data models and schema designs to support business requirements
- Optimize database performance and ensure data quality and accuracy
- Work with the business and colleagues to design and implement scalable data solutions
- Implement end-to-end data integration solutions between systems, applications, and platforms.
- Create and maintain documentation for integration workflows, processes, configurations and data dictionaries
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering Your Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a data engineer or a similar role
- Substantial experience in database technologies, such as SQL, mySQL, mariaDB, DB2
- Experience in business stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline design
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, SSAS and SSIS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is desirable
- Experience with Python, Java or C# is desirable
