At **Torrens Transit**, we proudly support the SA Government to deliver bus services across the Adelaide metropolitan area. Our Service Planning team are at the forefront of partnering with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) to deliver new services and initiatives to improve the public transport network, supporting population and economic growth. Following an internal restructure, we are currently recruiting for a Service Planning Manager to lead our Service Planning Team. The team provides day to day support to DIT for the delivery of network and event services. We utilise a range of software to analyse operating trends and performance, and to schedule vehicle and crew resources.

**About the role**

As Service Planning Manager, you will lead a local Morphettville based team of planning and scheduling experts in the delivery of business improvement initiatives and projects, advancing the quality and efficiency of operations at Torrens Transit and across Transit Systems. This critical role requires you to meet customer expectations for protected and reliable services, control costs, and deliver efficient solutions for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Lead** the Service Planning team on network improvements initiatives and business growth strategies, such as tenders and acquisitions, considering project timelines and milestones.
- **Develop** network strategies and improvements with consideration to the latest innovations in service planning and delivery, from global trends to local field surveys and research.
- **Undertake** financial analysis of all network change projects to consider the long-term impact on all elements of the business.
- **Employ** analytical techniques and metrics to assess performance, driving improvement and innovation within the business against KPIs, developing remedial plans under a continuous improvement approach.
- **Meet**and maintain an ongoing and productive relationship with clients, stakeholders, governments, customers, bus drivers, and other groups as required to shape and further project outcomes and business growth objectives.
- **Work** within all local and statutory policies and legislation (such as NHVR and Employment Agreements), putting safety first for all our customers and staff.
