**Role Highlights**:
- Oversee the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Based at the brand new South Australian Sports Institute facility at Mile End.

**Role Details**: In close collaboration with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), the Manager, Play Well Activation is entrusted with the responsibility of actively leading and supporting the implementation of the key initiatives outlined in Australia’s Sport Participation Strategy, Play Well within South Australia. The role will act as the central connector between the ASC and the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing to progress the activities of the Play Well strategy and will collaborate closely with other Play Well Activation Managers, connecting cross-jurisdictionally and vertically within the sport ecosystem. The scope of this role encompasses a diverse range of critical functions, including stakeholder engagement, project coordination, workshop facilitation, meeting management and event coordination.
**Special Conditions**:
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours may be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
**Essential Qualification**
- Tertiary qualification in sport and recreation management, project management, community engagement or other relevant field.
