Sandvik Mining Warehouse Worker/Operator – Pooraka, SA About the Prospect We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Worker/ Operator for our Pooraka branch to support and oversee warehouse and distribution operations for both internal and external customers.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a part in coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and service excellence.

You will act as a key point of contact on the floor, supporting team performance while driving best practice processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores' operations.

Weighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions; Receiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials Conduct project work; Assist with inventory control; Prepare shipping documentation; Enter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems
- SAP Undertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes; Implement quality control techniques and procedures.

General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping Support and guide team members, ensuring adherence to procedures, safety standards, and productivity expectations Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse workplace in line with WHS requirements About you: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' warehouse/stores experience in a Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing workplace, and a current Forklift license is essential.

You will be comfortable with using SAP and RF scanners as well as picking up new systems and processes and adaptable to learning environments.
