We are partnering with an established and growing Adelaide-based advisory firm and we are seeking an experienced Manager to join their collaborative and client-focused team. Working closely with the Directors, you will manage a diverse client portfolio while playing a key role in the leadership and development of the broader team. The Opportunity As a Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services while supporting the strategic growth of the firm and strengthening long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of business advisory and taxation clients across a variety of industries and entity structures
- Providing strategic accounting, taxation, and commercial advisory services
- Managing and strengthening long-term client relationships
- Working closely with Directors on complex advisory matters and strategic initiatives
- Reviewing work completed by accountants and providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Supporting and developing junior team members through coaching and leadership
- Managing workflow priorities, team capacity, and client deadlines
- Monitoring WIP, billing, and overall client profitability
- Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes
- Contributing to internal process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Participating in networking, marketing, and business development activities
- Supporting the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- CA / CPA qualified
- 6+ years’ experience within a professional services/accounting firm environment
- Strong technical accounting and taxation expertise
- Experience managing a client portfolio and leading client relationships
- Proven leadership and team management capability
- Ability to mentor, develop, and support junior staff
- Strong commercial acumen and advisory mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused, and professional approach
