About the role Join our Perioperative Services team as an Operating Room Assistant and play a vital role in supporting secure, high-quality patient care within the operating theatre setting. In this hands‑on role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth, timely and effective preparation and operation of theatre services. As the Operating Room Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Transportation of patients
- Preparing operating theatres as per theatre schedules
- Preparation and position of patient
- Cleaning of operating suite as per guidelines
- Maintaining compliance with appropriate theatre apparel as required and as per ACORN Standards
