Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant to join our high-performance Skilled Services team. This customer‑facing consulting position requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build robust partnerships with our customers and within Datacom. Location Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, but we allow versatile working arrangements. This is a 12‑month contract opportunity. To be successful you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV1 security clearance. Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers, partners, sales, and technical teams across cross‑disciplinary initiatives.
- Ensure assigned IT infrastructure‑based projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions, which may be provided remotely or on‑site.
- Provide pre‑sales support and expertise to the sales team. Qualifications
- Experience working with external enterprise customers in qualified services environments.
- Design, implementation and optimisation of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, AHV) and VCF 9.0.
- Curiosity and passion for customers; proven ability to communicate solutions across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging both technical and non‑technical staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desirable: Design, implementation and optimisation experience with backup and recovery (Commvault, Veeam) and hyperconverged technologies (Nutanix, Dell, Cisco).
