Now employing over 140 people, That’s Amore Cheese supplies artisan cheese and quality products to the city’s top restaurants as well as operating an on-site retail experience. Always evolving, and always innovative.

As an Accounts & Payroll Officer, you’ll go beyond the traditional accounting role by helping us modernise and optimise our systems. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday from 9am
- 5pm.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Providing excellent **Customer Service**:

- Receiving incoming calls for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- **Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable**:process collections and supplier payments efficiently while looking for ways to reduce manual efforts
- **Payroll**: Processing weekly payroll batch accurately and timely while identifying opportunities to enhance automation
- **Team support**: Work closely with the finance and operational teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Adhoc administration duties
- **Process Improvement**: Collaborate on streamlining accounting and financial processes, including exploring the use of AI-driver solutions

**Required Experience and Skills**
- **Experience**: 2+ years in an accounting or bookkeeping role, with a solid understanding of payroll and financial processes
- **Excellent verbal and written communication**:Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly phone manner
- **Team player**: With a collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with different team members
- **Problem-Solving skills**: A proactive attitude toward finding smarter, faster ways to get things done and committed to providing customer service, demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- **Analytical Mindset**: A love for numbers and a talent for analysing data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Office Software, Myob & Ostendo
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and work independently
- Well presented and exercise strong judgement, common sense and tact
- Ability to adapt and grow with company

Pay: $65,000.00
- $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
