- A community access program for a couple of NDIS clients; and
- Paid supported employment opportunities for people with disability. We have a focus on gardening and car washing contracts. These programs are designed to empower our crew members through meaningful work. AVAILABLE ROLES 1. A Part-Time Disability Support Worker (DSW)
- Community Access Program You will be supporting individuals to:
- Participate in community activities
- Work towards their personal goals
- Build independence, confidence, and life skills This is a rewarding role suited to someone who is empathetic, reliable, and relationship-focused, while maintaining clear professional boundaries. What we're looking for someone who:
- Builds positive, respectful relationships
- Encourages independence and choice
- Supports clients to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Maintains professionalism in all interactions 2. Casual Crew Leaders – Supported Employment Our supported employment program provides meaningful work for people with disability across services such as:
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Car washing services As a Crew Leader, you will lead small teams of Crew Members (supported employees), working on a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio. You will be:
- Providing day-to-day direction on job sites
- Working with your crew to deliver high-quality gardening and car washing services
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of your crew
- Encouraging individuals achieve their work-related goals
- Providing hands-on training, coaching, and support to our Crew Members
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and empowering work environment
- Transporting our supported employees to work sites and assist them with daily work tasks, ensuring safety and productivity
- Supporting crew member skill development and independence
- Checking and maintaining equipment
- Undertaking administrative work and processes – such as documenting daily journal notes for each crew member – in line with relevant legislative requirements. No disability sector experience necessary! We welcome both experienced support workers and those new to the sector. Training will be provided. ABOUT YOU For both roles, it is essential that you hold or are willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Drivers' Licence
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Create a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to safety and quality outcomes In addition:
- Community DSW
- Applicants currently enrolled in Certificate III or above in Individual Supports or a related field are encouraged to apply
- Crew Leader
- Paid work experience in a trade or practical field such as gardening, landscaping, or cleaning will be highly regarded. An ability to lead and support a small team is key.
