**Mechanical Fitter** **Afternoon Shift**

TRS Resourcing is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to work in Thomastown to service one of their packaging clients. They are an industry leader in electrical, automation and mechanical services. They seek a qualified Mechanical Fitter, ideally with a forklift license, to increase their workforce.

**This position is offered at a Contract Hourly Rate of $63.25 per hour (afternoon shift) + $27 Per Day Travel Allowance.**

**Shift Times: Monday-Friday, 3 pm
- 11 pm**

This role is six months, temp to perm, with a view to long-term employment. Immediate start is available! You will need experience in high-speed packing paper forming machines and the ability to fault-find with PLC-run machines, timing machines, and conveyors.

**To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Service, repair, and maintain various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more.
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Able to drive a basic forklift
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
