The Role JLL is the global property service provider for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The portfolio comprises approximately 1,000 properties (both owned and leased) across 100+ countries, including chancery/embassies and residential properties. We are seeking a Senior Property Manager to lead the strategic property management for DFAT’s Jakarta diplomatic compound. You will oversee comprehensive property operations while providing strategic decision‑making for upcoming capital projects. The role is based on‑site at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, and you will also manage remote satellite locations in Bali, Dili, Makassar and Surabaya. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact and manage client relationships at senior levels
- Lead strategic asset management for mixed‑use diplomatic facilities
- Oversee financial planning for major capital works
- Direct maintenance programs to optimise asset lifecycles

- Australian citizen to comply with client’s requirement to obtain relevant security clearance
- Ability to relocate to Jakarta, Indonesia
- Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate (preferred or in progress) will be an added advantage
- Sound property management experience in a complex or large‑scale facilities
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
- Excellent client service, stakeholder management and communication skills
