Your Role as Clinical Centre Manager – headspace Capalaba The Clinical Centre Manager holds the key leadership position within the headspace Capalaba team, providing oversight to coordination and delivery of clinical services, and is responsible for the overall quality development and delivery of WMQ headspace services in Capalaba. The incumbent will lead development and ensure delivery of evidence-based and innovative mental health services of the highest quality. The Clinical Centre Manager will, in partnership with the Senior Clinical Advisor, provide clinical support and guidance to all staff and Private Practitioners, ensuring staff are provided with adequate supervision. The Clinical Centre Manager will also provide operational management to the senior members of staff and provide oversight over their provision of line management to their team members. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational management to the headspace Capalaba centre, acting as a key link between WMQ, the Consortium, PHN and hNO and ensuring the service runs in accordance with headspace trademark license deed and contractual requirements.
- Leading ongoing improvement of headspace services, including clinical governance and practice documents and processes, and develop and implement new projects, partnerships and initiatives.
- Maintaining high quality clinical skills through involvement in direct service delivery, including maintaining a small caseload of clients.
- Ensuring the collection of relevant data to measure and report on deliverables and continuously improve and evaluate the service delivery processes at the centre.
- Ensuring team and clinical review meetings occur regularly and documentation is completed appropriately.
- Managing resources and rosters in a flexible and an effective manner to effectively manage workflow.
- Modeling and demonstrating constructive working relationships and information exchange, through collaboration with other key MHS leaders. This position is a fixed‑term position until the 31/12/2026. Benefits

- Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline including Social Work, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy with demonstrated management experience.
- Experience working in a leadership role in youth mental health services.
- Advanced level of clinical skills and demonstrated experience in a range of mental health service settings inclusive of Youth Mental Health.
- Experience in complex clinical triage, assessment and allocation of referrals.
- Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement.
- Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, and an excellent track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Essential Requirements
