**About the business and the role**
We have 3 main business streams: 1. Utility Investigations
2. Geospatial
3. Pavement Technology
We are expanding our capabilities in Utility Investigations and Geospatial and need clever, energetic and committed Surveyors to continue to grow the business with regards to Control (G73 and non G73), Detail, Utility and Engineering Surveys
You must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and live in the Sydney Metropolitan area to be considered
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
A lot of our work is as per G73 and as such highly technical and employees need to be competent at all aspects of surveying and post processing of survey outputs
We are very interested in Surveyors who are interested in ultimately managing projects and work winning as their career develops
**Skills and experience**
We require a person with a minimum of 3 years experience in Surveying on site. A degree or diploma in Surveying is essential
We are a growing business with opportunities to gain strong technical skills and also to progress into Supervisor and management roles
Our industry is fast paced and diverse. We work all over NSW in sectors such as roads, highways, airports, railways, ports, building sites. There are many challenges to overcome but high satisfaction levels upon successful project delivery
It is essential that all Utility Surveyors are disciplined and responsible as well as being creative and very good at problem solving. Damage to underground assets can cost millions of dollars and possible fatalities and all employees need to understand this.
We work both day and nightshift and occasional weekends and employees need to be flexible in this regard.
All applicants need to have a visa that enables them to work full time in Australia with no restrictions
All employees need a NSW manual driving licence
The personal skills required are: 1. Self Confidence
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skils
3. Perseverance
4. Ability to solve complex problems
5. A desire to learn recent skills
6. Strong attention to detail
7. Ability to work effectively within a team and form relationships with co workers, managers and clients
8. Ambitious
9. Determined
10. Resilient
