Factory Worker (Seven Hills)

**Position Type**: Full Time
- 7.5 hours each day. 37.5 hrs per week. Hours 7am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday and 6am to 2pm Fridays.

Pay Rate: $30-36 per hour plus superannuation.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in mixing pipe lubricant batches.
- Fill, label and package cans into cartons and on pallets for orders and stock.
- Package graphite.
- Safely and efficiently operate the production line, following standard procedures.
- Maintain a focus on safety at all times, promptly reporting any potential issues.
- Conduct quality checks as per standard operating procedures and immediately report any quality issues to the Factory Manager.
- Accurately record all production and quality data.
- Perform daily equipment and area cleaning activities as required.
- Maintain a clean and tidy production area at all times.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of factory operations to work independently when the Factory Manager is absent.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to the production order.
- Attend and actively contribute to regular team meetings.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a current forklift license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with mínimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Willingness to get your hands dirty.
- Flexibility to pick up any required shifts.
- Physically fit, as the role involves standing for long periods and manual handling.
- Own transport as nearest public transport (bus stop) is a few streets away.

PLEASE NOT THE FACTORY SHUTS DOWN FOR 2-3 WEEKS (10-15 DAYS) FOR CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR, YOU CAN CHOOSE TO USE YOUR ACCRUED ANNUAL LEAVE ENTITLEMENT AND/OR TAKE UNPAID LEAVE AT THIS TIME.

Pay: $30.00
- $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
