**About the Opportunity**

We are now seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our high performing team in Seven Hills on an 8-12 month contract.

As the Purchasing Officer, you will work across allocated business units providing overseas purchasing services to ensure approved orders are supplied as requested and in accordance with the agreed terms.

You will recommend purchasing quantities for replenishment stock to assist the Product Manager in making decisions on routine stock orders.

You will monitor the progress of orders, investigate problems and ensure the planned receipt dates in the system reflect the latest information while utilising your attention to detail and solutions focused mindset to investigate any issues that may occur with goods received including, under/over/incorrect supply or damaged goods and coordinate the resolution.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders based on agreed replenishment levels and non-routine Purchase Orders.
- Review replenishment reports and recommend changes to purchasing quantities.
- Create advanced shipment Notifications (ASNs).
- Confirm invoices match POs prior to receipt of goods.

**About You**

You will be a solid communicator and relationship builder with the ability to establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will be able a team player, able to work collaboratively with Product Managers, Data Managers, the Warehousing team and Freight Forwarders.

You will also ideally possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of procurement concepts (MRP/ERP) and processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Administration and organisational skills.
