The Company Coex Capital (“Coex) is a specialist prime equipment financier who offers a single product (chattel mortgage) with distribution exclusive to accredited commercial finance brokers. Our core borrowers are SMEs in the construction, transport, logistics, engineering, mining services and manufacturing sectors seeking finance for high quality, revenue generating assets. Our mission is to deliver a broker-focused service for equipment finance solutions which respects and values the brokers’ relationship with their client, the Coex borrower. This is achieved by providing a predictable and consistent service in a personalised, convenient, and customer-focused way, whilst also leveraging technology. The Chance: We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Finance Administration Officer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with administration or finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a career in lending and financial services. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finance applications from submission through to settlement
- Prepare loan documentation and process payouts, releases, and requests
- Support brokers, borrowers, and internal teams with enquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems
- Support the end-to-end collections process, including proactive outreach to brokers and borrowers. Consistent follow up to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all collections activities and collaborate with internal and external teams (Credit, BDM, valuers, agents, etc.) to improve recovery outcomes and process efficiency
- Request and collect information (financial and non-financial) from brokers and borrowers for the assessment of hardship or payment deferral requests
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Experience:
- 2–3 years’ experience in administration, operations, collections or finance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in finance, lending, or banking (advantageous) Why join us?
