Transport and Logistics Operators (Gatton)

The Position: We currently have multiple positions available within our business for transport and logistics operators, including truck and forklift drivers. The following is meant to be a guide only and in no way precludes the person filling this position from being asked to perform other duties. Key areas of responsibility:
- Coordinate daily dispatch and transport activities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move produce and materials
- Drive company trucks for local deliveries and transfers between sites
- Ensure secure handling, storage, and transport of goods
- Prepare and check delivery documentation, manifests, and consignment notes
- Conduct pre-start vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements
- Assist with warehouse organisation
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements
- Perform machinery maintenance as required
- Operate machinery and equipment
- Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and external transport providers Skills and requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience
· Valid forklift licence (highly regarded)
· Valid truck licence (HC/MC- highly regarded)
· Previous experience in transport, logistics, horticulture or warehouse operations
· Strong understanding of safe loading and handling practices
· Good organisational and time management skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
