**What you’ll do**
- Ensure that communication is also open, honest and requests are followed up in a precise, appropriate, friendly and timely manner.
- To maintain strict confidentially regarding the Centre, staff, children and families.
- To maintain and monitor the necessary financial and administration records of the Centre on a daily basis.
- To establish and maintain effective and appropriate communication systems with staff and families.

**Position requirements**

The successful applicant must have well developed attention to detail and great communication skills. Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria;
- Hold a current blue card
- Hold/be willing to obtain a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
- that we will pay for!
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care

**The Centre**

**Lockyer Valley Early Education Centre** opened in March 2004 and cares for up to 117 children aged from birth to school age each day. We have a great team of long term staff and are passionate about providing our children and families with amazing programs like Farm Kindy and Heathy Eating workshops. Acknowledging Country is a common practice in our service where we respect the continuing connection of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Traditional Owners and Custodians to the land on which our service stands.

Our Centre is part of Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS), who is a Privately owned and operated company which provides early childhood education to children in South East Queensland. Established in 1991. QCCS is committed to the implementation of the National Early Years Learning Framework and operates an Emergent Curriculum. Our first and foremost important goal is to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in our learning environments.
