Redcape Hospitality is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at The Entrance Social Club — a recently acquired coastal venue in the heart of The Entrance, with strong local trade, seasonal visitor demand and a growing food operation across Mrs May Bistro and Bar, Taffy’s Sports Bar, functions and venue events. This is a rare opportunity to step into a venue at the start of its next chapter with Redcape. You will have the scope to strengthen service standards, develop a capable team and shape a modern, high-performing food operation in one of the Central Coast’s most recognisable locations. About the role As Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of kitchen operations, driving consistency and quality across the venue. This role suits a hands-on leader who values structure and delivers high standards at scale. What you’ll do
- Oversee kitchen operations across bistro, sports bar food, functions and events
- Build, coach and lead a high-performing kitchen team
- Manage stock, labour and costs to meet budget
- Oversee menu execution, food safety and WHS standards
- Work with the leadership team to drive overall venue performance
- Improve structure, accountability and service flow across the kitchen What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume venue
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and developing teams
- Experience managing large-scale service, functions and venue events
- Strong understanding of food cost control, labour management and delivering to budget
- Hands-on, structured and solutions-focused approach
