**About the role** Beachcomber Hotel is currently seeking passionate Functions and Events team members to join the crew. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests during various events held at the venue. We are looking for individuals with bright, outgoing personalities, outstanding customer service skills and a passion for providing memorable experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivering high standards of service, ensuring guests expectations are exceeded
- Bar and table service, with efficiency and a smile!
- Set up and pack down of event spaces according to specifications and guest needs
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the events space during and after events.
- Connecting with guests, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any enquiries or concerns.

**Skills & Experience**
- RSA qualification
- Ability to confidently carry three plates at a time for efficient food service
- Willingness to work in various areas of the venue as required by operational needs.
- Strong communication skills, enthusiastic about customer service and talking to guests.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with a team, seeing yourself and your team succeed and grow!
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Passionate about food, wine and cocktails
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced role

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.23
- $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: 15
- 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- events waiter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (required)
