Post Office Customer Service Officer (Budgewoi)

Budgewoi Post Office is seeking a Postal Services Officer to join a growing friendly team offering the full range of Australia Post products and services.

This is a great chance for applicants who have previous Australia Post, extensive sales, banking or retail experience. You will need the ability to work well under pressure as we are a fast paced post office. Extensive supportive training provided.

Casual position 9 to 13.5 per week available. Office hours are 9am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and enjoy working in a team environment. You'll also need to
- Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
- Be customer focused
- **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conduct and process a range of identity service transactions including Australian Passport Interviews
- Manage high value transactions accurately
- which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS
- Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
- Promote products and services through up selling and cross selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Assisting customers with mail lodgments and associate costs
- Assisting with administrative and store duties

Pay: $30.00
- $33.86 per hour

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
