**About the Role**: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking **Kitchen Hand** to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall success of our venue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support the kitchen team in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Dispose of waste and keep trash areas clean and organised.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a protected working environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.19
- $37.43 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Hand: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handling Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
