Post Office Customer Service Officer Budgewoi

Budgewoi Post Office is seeking a Postal Services Officer to join a growing friendly team offering the full range of Australia Post products and services.

This is a outstanding chance for applicants who have previous Australia Post, extensive sales, banking or retail experience. You will need the ability to work well under pressure as we are a fast paced post office. Extensive supportive training provided.

Casual position 9 to 13.5 per week available. Office hours are 9am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

About you_

You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and enjoy working in a team workplace. You'll also need to

Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling

Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift

Be customer focused

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct and process a range of identity service transactions including Australian Passport Interviews

Manage high value transactions accurately
- which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS

Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs

Promote products and services through up selling and cross selling, merchandising and other promotional activities

Assisting customers with mail lodgments and associate costs

Assisting with administrative and store duties

- $33.86 per hour
