ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently searching for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our close-knit team on a Part-Time basis at Halekulani Bowling Club located in Budgewoi, NSW! As a Chef, your role will consist of preparing and cooking a variety of dining options whilst maintaining the highest standards and executing high quality, wholesome and well-presented meals for our customers to ensure that we continue to create memorable experiences. More specifically, some of your key duties will include:
- Manage efficient and high-quality food preparation
- Maintain presentation and consistency of food served
- Service and prepare for all bistro and function meals
- Monitoring of stock levels and complete stock rotations
- Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality ABOUT YOU To be successful for this role, you should have the following:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen
- Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Food Handling certificate
- Be self-disciplined and a team player
- Exceptional communication skills
