About Us: At The Pizza & Pasta Kitchen, we are focused on delivering quality food and customer service. As an established hospitality business, we offer a range of Italian and modern Australian cuisine in a welcoming dining environment. We are committed to maintaining consistency, efficiency, and a positive experience for our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, and contributing to menu development. Salary Range: $75,000
- $85,000 per annum (depending upon experience & skills) Role: Full time Location: Toongabbie NSW 2146 Main Duties:
· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
· Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
· Plan and update menus, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
· Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and efficiency
· Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food wastage
· Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in compliance with food safety standards
· Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
· Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance and standards Skills & Qualifications:
· Relevant qualification at Certificate IV level in Kitchen Management or equivalent qualification
· At least one (1) year of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef
· Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
