About the role

- The Glengarry Pub is seeking a talented Chefto join our team in Glengarry, Victoria. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative meals for our guests, while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and service. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding workplace. Salary on offer is $75000-$80000 plus super, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest culinary standards
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
Training Junior Staff
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless food service
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and develop new menu items
Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
Minimum 1- 2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality setting
Relevant Qualifications
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Robust attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
