Steelfixer Formworker Welders Traralgon

We are currently seeking rebar MIG Welders, steelfixers and formworkers for a busy precast column and panel manufacturing facility in Pakenham! If you are seeking secure work with lots of hours close to home, this job could be right for you!

About the job (MIG Welder):

MIG Welding steel rebar to create cage structures such as (Pile cages, D-Walls and columns)
- Essentially Tack welding

Reading plans and drawings to create various cage structures.

Using overhead cranes to load and move stock.

Setting up jigs for welding.

$* per hour with upcoming rate increases

About the job (Steelfixer):

Steelfixing duties, assembling steel cages and frames for precast panel and column production

Steel tying and placement for various jobs

Assisting with pouring and production duties when required

Use of tying guns and various other hand and power tools

Reading off plans and drawings to create rebar cage products such as (D-Walls, pile cages and column cages)

$40+ per hour with upcoming rate increases

About the job (Formworker):

Assembling formwork for various precast products such as panels and columns.

Using various hand and power tools for assembly and disassembly of formwork.

Measuring formwork for different jobs.

Attaching magnets and inserting reinforcement ready for pouring.

Assisting with steel tying duties and pouring when required.

$40+ per hour with upcoming rate increases

About you:

Available Monday to Friday

Previous precast experience is heavily considered

Able to interpret plans and drawings to create a final product.

MIG welders must have previous welding experience

Formworkers must have previous experience

Steelfixers must have previous experience
