- Enjoy a great work life balance with a hybrid working model based in Traralgon or Leongatha About the Role: As our Communications Project Officer, you'll support our Communications and Marketing Team to:
- Plan, design and coordinate engaging project communications
- Focus on developing and implementing communications for key State Environmental Contribution Levy funded projects, including case studies, media releases, social media, photos and web based project profiles. What will your typical day look like?
- Provide project advice and support to staff in the development and implementation of communication and engagement plans
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the Annual Project Communications Plan
- Support staff in the delivery of project communication and engagement events/activities and associated media
- Improve internal project based communication efficiencies through a review and updating of current processes, including the training of relevant staff
- Ensure communications activities are kept up to date in the communications and marketing schedules. Let’s talk about you You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Knowledge in the media or communications environment including the preparation of media releases, publications, advertising and providing high quality communications and marketing advice
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in communication skills in particular digital marketing strategies and execution
- An understanding of, and experience in, communications, public relations, marketing, and event management
- An understanding of community engagement processes and principles including experience in engagement activities and initiatives
- Highly developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills suited to developing and maintaining partnerships with diverse stakeholders with a range of views and levels of understanding.
