The Role The Clinical Nurse Consultant – Medical Day Procedure Unit (CNC) provides clinical leadership and direction to improve the quality and continuity of care for clients diagnosed with cancer and haematology conditions. The CNC serves as the primary contact for continuity of care, providing expert advice and coordinating patient care from diagnosis through treatment and surgery to discharge back to the community, and works as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Provide autonomy and independent decision‑making to develop the service.
- Offer authoritative advice at oncology team meetings to support patient care specific to cancer care.
- Develop pathways, protocols and guidelines for cancer/haematology care consistent with the national framework. Appointment Details Permanent, part‑time shift worker position, working up to 24 hours per fortnight, commencing 6 July 2026. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Compensation Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum (pro‑rata) plus 12% superannuation contribution. Benefits
