FULL TIME: YEAR 10 Home Room Teacher/Year 9 & 10 HASS & English Geneva Christian College is an independent Christian school in rural Tasmania. The Role Pastoral care and leadership for the Year 10 class, commencing with class devotions each day and closing the day with announcements and prayer. Plan, teach, assess and report on Year 10 English and Year 9 & 10 HASS. Provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students. Work in collaboration with other staff to maintain a distinctive Christian education, by motivating and aligning practice with the School’s Vision, Mission & Values. Encourage students in a positive and supportive learning setting where student achievements are acknowledged.

You A committed Christian teacher with a deep desire to serve Jesus. Demonstrate a passion for Biblically-based Christian education & teaching. Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities. Have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students. Demonstrate the ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management. Hold a current Teachers’ Registration and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
