We invite you to join us at Aussie Broadband as a Customer Service Consultant, working in our call centre to support residential customers. You will be the first point of contact for inbound calls, providing troubleshooting, fault identification, and account assistance.
Job Responsibilities Handle inbound calls and address basic troubleshooting and fault identification. Provide technical and account assistance via phone and other communication channels. Meet customer service standards and call handling targets. Attempt to diagnose and resolve non‑service related cases, escalating when necessary. Handle conflict resolution, escalated complaints, and follow standard help desk and account procedures. Adhere to privacy laws and internal policies.
Qualifications Familiarity with the telco industry preferred, but not essential. Robust interest in IT and technology. Background in accounts or customer service. Moderate computer skills and basic data entry abilities. Effective communication, consultation, and empathy skills. Commitment to work 37.5 hours per week on a rotational roster (8am‑12am, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays).
