About the role Trade Cook on a casual basis at Latrobe Regional Health, part of the Food Services team. The role involves delivering high‐quality meals for patients, staff and visitors, ensuring food safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Role responsibilities Prepare and cook meals, including therapeutic diets, following standard recipes and portion control guidelines. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and LRH's Food Safety Program. Manage ordering, receipt and storage of goods, ensuring quality and minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and work areas. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and meet key performance indicators. Collaborate with the Food Services team to deliver efficient and customer‐focused service. About you Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent as a trade cook (mandatory). Completion of an accredited food handling course (mandatory). Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of therapeutic diets and kitchen ordering processes (desirable). Benefits Salary packaging up to $9,000 per annum. Meals/Entertainment benefit up to $2,650 per annum.
