About Us
Action Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join a proudly Australian-owned company specialising in scientifically formulated pet nutrition. The company is committed to producing high-quality Single Protein Diets (SPD™) designed to support the health and wellbeing of pets through innovation, care, and science-driven solutions.
As part of the manufacturing process, products are made using raw meat ingredients. Due to continued growth, an chance is now available for a dedicated and reliable team member to join the team.
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, working hands-on with raw meat ingredients to produce premium pet food products. You will be responsible for ensuring all products are prepared safely, efficiently, and in line with strict quality and food safety standards.
This role is best suited to individuals who are comfortable handling raw meat products as part of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Operate production line machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Prepare, weigh, and mix raw meat ingredients in accordance with recipes and production procedures Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process Adhere to all WHS, HACCP, and food safety standards at all times Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience within food manufacturing, meat processing, pharmaceutical, or FMCG environments (preferred but not essential) Comfort working with raw meat products Robust attention to detail and commitment to product quality Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting 20kg or more Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team-focused attitude
