Forklift Operator - Reach Experience Required (Truganina)

Our thriving warehouses (we have 5 in total!) are seeking Forklift Operators, to play a pivotal role in the smooth-running of our warehouse operations. The Forklift Operators roles will be on a casual basis, with the view to become permanent. The warehouses are located in Brooklyn, Derrimut and Truganina.

You need your own transport to get to this warehouse.

**Your Role**:

- Loading and unloading of Linehaul trailers, local vehicles, and inbound containers
- Loading a range of general oversized products and freight
- Inbound receiving and outbound dispatching
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- Meeting loading and unloading deadlines whilst maintaining safety and zero damages
- Manual handling
- Order picking if required
- Assisting with the other warehouse duties as needed
- Working with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and high standards of service are always maintained while complying with our OH&S; policies

**To be successful, you must have**:

- Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Experiences in warehouse practice
- we do not have cold storage or hazardous materials but we do need reach experience
- Be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team environment
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Have a commitment to safe work practices

**Equipment**: Steel capped shoes, we provide the forklift!

Pay: $33.00
- $34.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30
- 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Rotating roster
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- reach forklift: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
