Warehouse Operator (Laverton North)

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on person to fill a Part-time role at the warehouse, being able to pick, pack and dispatch orders every week-day. (Monday-Friday). Some Computer skills are required to fulfil the dispatching process.

You will need to be a competent Forklift operator to load heavy machinery (2.5T) around the warehouse and onto trucks and to assist with unloading Shipping Containers.

Some of the machinery requires pre-assembly, so having the ability to use hand and power tools to complete these tasks is also required.

The role requires being onsite between 2-4 hours per weekday to complete the required work, but the time-of-day is versatile to suit other commitments, and could vary from day-to-day.

You will be in regular contact with the Customer Service team in NZ, and with the traveling Sales staff that operate from the Melbourne office.

We are offering significantly higher-than-normal remuneration for this role to reflect the part-time nature. Negotiating a fixed weekly income irrespective of hours worked could be considered. A Travel Allowance is also offered (conditions will apply).
