THE ROLE
Based at our Support Office in Derrimut, in this full time role you will be responsible for supporting our Trade customers with technical support requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist internal departments in technical support
Maintain a high level of Beacon Lighting product knowledge
Obtain all relevant information, offer an appropriate solution, and ensure the customer is confident that the issue is being appropriately addressed
Interpret technical specification sheets provided by suppliers
Ensure all information is accurately recorded so that spreadsheets and databases are maintained in a timely manner
Provide information and feedback to stakeholders regarding technical and product issues
Conduct thorough fault-finding investigations on product issues raised, utilising our in house test lab to diagnose and identify root causes for resolution.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An “A” grade electrical license
Previous experience as a domestic electrician
Background in lighting, fan and electrical product knowledge highly regarded
Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude
Strong organisational skills and confidence in working with a computer
