About the prospect We’re looking for a Freight Handler to join our diverse and hard‑working team. With e‑commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast. Key Responsibilities
- Handload parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road.
- Unload trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse.
- Wrap freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper, electronically scan parcels and update documentation.
- Work the hours between 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday) – 20 hours per week. About you
- Fit and able to lift at least 30kg repeatedly – assessed at a pre‑employment medical check to ensure safety.
- Laser focused, even when the role becomes repetitive.
- Team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected.
- Have full work rights (no restrictions).
- Forklift licence is a plus, since it helps move freight around the warehouse.
