Construction Project Officer (Central Coast Council)

Our client is seeking applicants for the role of Construction Project Officer. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical experience within the construction industry while supporting the Construction and Project teams. You will work closely with the Senior Construction Manager to help ensure construction sites operate safely and efficiently. This role is a temporary casual contract role with full-time hours. This role is based at a site near Wyong NSW. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Construction and Project teams with day-to-day site operations
- Support the Senior Construction Manager in resolving site issues and assisting with problem-solving
- Coordinate contractor activities and help monitor project schedules
- Ensure workers and visitors comply with site entry and induction requirements
- Assist with maintaining project documentation and schedules
- Attend contractor and site meetings and support team communication About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and solid communication skills. You may be studying, recently graduated, or looking to build your experience in the construction industry. Previous exposure to construction, trades, infrastructure, or project environments is beneficial but not essential. Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn project management and scheduling systems will be required. Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed qualifications in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
