About Your Role We are seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to lead, influence, and support a multidisciplinary NSW Passenger Rail team to ensure all operations align with industry standards and project specifications. This role will be site based at the Mariyung Maintenance Facility in Kangy Angy, Central Coast NSW. Your role plays a key part in driving consistent quality outcomes across complex passenger projects. You will work collaboratively across technical, operational, and delivery teams, using data‑driven insights and live reporting to track compliance, performance, and project deliverables. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and influence multidisciplinary teams to embed quality across NSW Passenger operations
- Ensure project activities meet contractual requirements, industry standards, and client expectations
- Develop, maintain, and present statistical reporting on project deliverables and compliance
- Design and manage live dashboard reports to provide real‑time visibility of quality performance
- Monitor trends, risks, and non‑conformances and support corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and shared accountability
- Support audits, reviews, and governance requirements as needed About You
- Experience in quality improvement, project governance, compliance, or reporting environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across diverse teams
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, or performance metrics (e.g. Power BI, Excel or similar tools)
- A structured, analytical mindset with a continuous improvement focus
- Knowledge of transport, infrastructure, or passenger projects (desirable, not essential) Qualifications
- Trade‑qualified or qualified in a relevant technical, engineering, quality, or project discipline, with experience in rail, rolling stock, infrastructure, or maintenance environments
- Auditor qualification and/or demonstrated experience working with ISO 9001 quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) Our Benefits
