Manufacturing Data and Analytics Specialist The Company Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia's leading breakfast products – Up & Go, So Good, Alternative Dairy Co range and Australia's favourite breakfast Weet-Bix. About the Role As a Manufacturing Data and Analytics Specialist, you will design, test, and support reporting and analytics solutions that provide valuable insights into operational performance. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, remove pain points, and maximise the value of data across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, improved data integrity, and AI-enabled optimisation.
- Map current-and future-state BI and data processes to identify opportunities for process automation, workflow automation, AI-driven insights, and advanced analytics.
- Analyse operational requirements across multiple systems to inform effective data and analytics solutions.
- Develop and support Power BI dashboards and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure reliable and efficient data delivery.
- Act as Product Owner for key manufacturing data projects.
- Plan and manage system deployments with minimal business disruption.
- Prepare clear reports and maintain solid stakeholder communication.
- Coach and train users to interpret and use reports effectively for decision‑making. What You'll Bring
- Proven experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong data modelling and solution design capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Data & Analytics or equivalent.
- Experience in full life cycle business systems project management.
- Understanding of food industry regulations, including HACCP and the ANZ Food Standards Code, is highly desirable. Why Us?
