About the Role

We have opportunities available for People Consultants to join us on 6 and 12 month fixed-term contracts! As a People Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality HR services to managers and staff within designated client teams. Reporting to the Manager, People Consultants, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of people management issues, support HR initiatives, and work closely with client managers to ensure effective operations.

You will be responsible for guiding managers through recruitment, performance management, workplace relations, and compliance, ensuring the university’s strategic goals are met. This role requires a solid understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a rapid-paced workplace. Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational HR guidance and support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Strategic Business Partners to meet client needs and deliver HR services aligned with agreed KPIs.

Advise managers on best practices in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.

Support change management initiatives and deliver training sessions as required.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
