Casual Hospitality Staff – Bars, Café & Events (Broadway)

ActivateUTS | UTS Campus – Ultimo ActivateUTS is looking for experienced, customer-focused casual hospitality staff to join our commercial venues across campus, including The Underground Bar, The Loft, Terrace Café, and Aerial Function Centre. If you already have hospitality or event experience and enjoy working in fast-paced, people-focused environments, we’d love to hear from you. Roles Available
- Bartenders – delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supporting smooth food and beverage service, and ensuring responsible service at The Underground and The Loft
- Café All-Rounders – providing customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining food safety standards at Terrace Café
- Conference & Event Functions Staff – delivering food and beverage service, supporting event operations, and maintaining high service standards at Aerial Function Centre What You’ll Do
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service
- Serve food and beverages in line with venue and RSA standards
- Support daily operations, events, set-up and pack-down
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming venues
- Work as part of a supportive, team-based environment What You’ll Bring Essential
- Current NSW RSA certificate
- Previous experience in hospitality, bars, cafés, or events
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings, and weekends for key events Desirable
- Barista or bar experience
- Experience in conferences, functions, or large events
- Interest in student life and campus culture
- Food Handler Basic Certificate
