Certificate Iii or Diploma Educator (Yass)

Early Education Initiative is looking for a enthusiastic staff member to join our team of highly motivated, passionate and friendly educators. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

- Childcare Assistant -Certificate III or willing to study
- Diploma Qualified Educator

We pride ourselves on high quality early childhood education. Our approach to care, provides parents with peace of mind that their child is being cared for by qualified educators who are approachable, warm and dedicated to providing stimulating hands on child directed experiences in a safe environment.

The Centre provides care for 39 children each day with an age range of 0-6 years. There are 3 rooms: Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children. We also run a Before and After School Care program during school term, as well as Vacation Care in the school holidays.

**The Position**: This is a permanent full time position with the possibility of an immediate start at our centre in Yass.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
- Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
- Conduct observations and evaluations of children's development
- Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
- Respond to the emotional needs of the children

**Essential criteria for Certificate 3/Diploma**
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services
- Working With Children's Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Passion for providing high quality care and education
- Experience in working in an early years setting (desirable)
