**About the Position**

Reporting directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Higher Degree by Research) provides leadership and strategic support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) on the delivery of UTS 2030 and implementation of the Research Strategy specifically pertaining to higher degree by research student experience and training. The PVC(HDR) will lead the roll out of the university response to the HDR Review and the final activation of the OnePhD plan.

You will possess excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships internally and externally. This senior leadership position requires highly developed skills in communication, team building, and the ability to drive and lead cultural change while dealing with ambiguity in a complex environment.
