**About the Team**
Our Professional Team in Computer Science is a dynamic, collegial group of seven, dedicated to supporting both Academic colleagues & HDR students within the largest school at UTS. Known for our efficiency, organisation and service-oriented approach, we work together in a supportive setting where growth and development are always a focus. Within the School of Computer Science, there are approximately 12,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate award programs, as well as a range of executive development, microcredential and short course programs. We also support over 500 HDR students in our school, by far the largest cohort in UTS.
**About the Role**
The School Administrative Assistant is a front line and important role in our school.
The School Administration Assistant (SAA) is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Head of School and School Executive, academics and students, as well as supporting the day to day running and maintenance of the School Office.
In addition, they will contribute to the efficient and effective operations of the School by providing accurate, responsive and timely advice and assistance to staff. Often as the first point of contact in our school, this varied front line position will ensure that key processes are on track to meet deadlines and completed in accordance with University policies.

- Ability to interpret and adhere to established protocols, procedures and guidelines
**Remuneration & Benefits**
**Base Salary Range: $73,641 to $76,843 pa (HEW 4)**
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension)** in addition** to the base salary.
UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Advantages include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
This position is **full-time** and appointment will be made on a **fixed term basis for 12 months.**
The Role requires on campus presence as most related tasks are front line.
